League Cup 2012/13: il sorteggio

Prende forma la nuova stagione. In attesa dell'uscita dei calendari del campionato si è svolto questa mattina il sorteggio per il 1° turno di League Cup. La competizione non si chiamerà più Carling Cup, ma Capital One Cup. Negli accoppiamenti del 1° turno sono stati adottati criteri di vicinanza geografica.


Le partite si giocheranno a partire dal 13 agosto, pochi giorni prima dall'inizio dei campionati.

Le squadre di Premier non saranno coinvolte nel 1° turno cosi come Blackburn e Bolton che entreranno a partire dal 2° turno.

Il Leeds giocherà in casa contro lo Shrewsbury Town, club che sotto la guida di Graham Turner ha chiuso al secondo posto nella League Two dello scorso anno, conquistando così la promozione in League One.
