Fa Cup: esordio allo Stadium of Light per il Leeds

Inizierà allo Stadium of Light il cammino del Leeds nella Fa Cup 2015. Il sorteggio del terzo turno ha infatti regalato allo United la sfida contro il Suderland. Sarà una gara dal sapore antico. Proprio Leeds-Sunderland fu la finale dell'edizione 1973. La vittoria per 1 a 0 dei biancorossi fu un risultato assolutamente a sorpresa, probabilmente la più grande in una finale del torneo. Nelle file dei black cats milita Connor Wickham, attaccante passato ad Elland Road nella passata stagione. A guidare il Sunderland è un altro ex: quel Gus Poyet che fece da assistente a Wise nel 2006. La gara si giocherà nella prima settimana di gennaio.
